What are your hours?

We are open a limited basis currently, and the days and times we will be open may vary from week to week in response to customer needs and the pandemic.  If you call us at 614-356-7090 or 614 395-3337 we'll be glad to give you the bakery schedule for the next several days after you call.

You also can call to schedule a time to meet us at the bakery that will work on both our schedules.

As noted above, you can place an order with us by e-mail or text message with your phone number and we'll call you to complete and finalize your order.

Can products be shipped?

Yes.  We frequently ship to customers in and beyond Ohio.  Products are frozen after baking to preserve flavor and moisture content, so we ship USPS, UPS or FedEx in cooler bags, both of which add to the cost. (Even so, shipping can be less expensive than driving to Columbus!)  If you live near or will be coming to Columbus, you can order for bakery pickup.

How does bakery pickup work?

Call us at (614) 395-3337 or e-mail us at info@soodlesbakeshop.com with your name, phone number and date and time needed.  If we miss your call, we'll call you back promptly if additional information is needed.

Then come to the bakery to pick up your order at your specified time we are open (or arrange in advance for a different time) -- Monday through Saturday, 12 noon until 5:30 and closed on Sundays.  If we are out of any product you ordered,  we'll call to let you know right away and arrange for a different product, pickup date or time if you wish.

Are your products vegan?

All our products except our white breads are vegan. Our white breads, rolls, buns, and graham crackers are made with honey unless sugar or maple syrup is requested.

How are products packaged?

Our cinnamon coffee cake is sold in a 6"x 6"-inch, single-package baking pan, offering nine 4"x 4" portions. Brownies and chocolate chip cookie cakes are sold in round baking pans.  Other products often are individually packaged for lunch box use and to prevent cross-contamination and may be grouped for sale in larger packages.

How should we store products?

Our products are frozen to preserve flavor and moisture content. Keep all baked goods in the original sealed packages and store in a freezer until it is time to serve them.  Then allow a short time for defrosting or quicker warmup by toaster oven or microwave.

What is the best way to serve Soodles Bake Shop's products?

Warm icing by placing the unopened icing container in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes, then stir, apply to the product and enjoy!  Warm baked goods in a toaster oven or microwave for 20-40 seconds. Use caution when handling or consuming warmed products as some parts may be very hot.
